Pam Bell, age 57, of Idalou, passed away, January 9, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Friday, January 13, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Idalou. Interment will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paducah, Texas. Arrangements under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Idalou. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00P.M. at the funeral home Thursday evening.

Pam was born on June 26, 1959 in Tarrant County, Texas to Finis and Joy (Patton) Carrol. She graduated from Burleson High School in 1977. Pam married Greg Bell of Morton in March of 1970, they were blessed with two children Kasey and Carson.
Pam moved to Idalou in November 1993, where she became a homemaker and became actively involved in many civic, youth and church organizations; including serving on the board of Swimmers Inc. and Little Dribblers. Pam was a member of the First United Methodist Church Idalou and served as secretary for a period of time. She oversaw the distribution of the South Plains Food Bank Voucher program for the community of Idalou. Pam was a member of the Daughters of Republic of Texas. She especially had a passion and heart for elderly care. She worked in many nursing homes; including most recently at Autumn House in Idalou.
Pam's greatest love was being a mom and a grandmother. She also enjoyed getting to visit and spend time in the mountains.

Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her father, Finis Carrol and wife Edna of Grandview, her mother, Joy Torian of Lubbock, her brother, Ronald Carrol and wife Sharee of Alvarado, her children, daughter, Kasey Long and husband, Ryan of Canyon, her son, Carson Bell and fiancé, Melaney Rogers of Danville, Indiana, and the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Olivia and Owen Long, her Uncle, Troy Patton and wife Norma of Canadian, and her special friend Jeff Pate of Idalou.
