*Obituary
After several weeks' illness, Charles W. Hall, 59, died at his home early Christmas morning from heart trouble. A pioneer resident of Borger and Whittenburg, Hall was an oil field worker, formerly employed by the Phillips Petroleum company.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, J.T. and E.L., Borger; a brother, John W. of Vivian, La., two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Grady of Westminister, Tex., and Mrs. Amanda Joplin of Brokenbow, Okla. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Assembly of God church, with the Rev. J.A. Thomas officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery. The Carver-Powell funeral chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were W.T. Melton, C.J. Jones, H.C. Bristow, D.L. Vaughan, B.C. Koosey and Harry McKoin.
