BORGER - Lecrecia McMurry Heaton, 77, died Friday, June 24, 2005, in Panhandle.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with Jake Minton officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Heaton was a native of Durant, Okla., and a Borger resident for 50 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Borger. She was a lover of music, nature and art.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Bill Savage.

Survivors include a son, Todd McMurry and wife, Julie, of Borger; two daughters, Cindy Burns and husband, David, of Amarillo and Linda Cuzick and husband, Ron, of Dallas; two brothers, Douglas Savage and Ben Weibel, both of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, Aaron Burns, Chad Burns and Vannie Cuzick, all of Amarillo, Court Pavillaird and Michelle Harris, both of Dallas, and Logan McMurry, Marci McMurry, Ivy McMurry, Maggie McMurry and Nicole McMurry, all of Borger; and a great-granddaughter, Peyton Burns of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to the Square House Museum, P.O. Box 276, Panhandle, TX 79068.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
