Death came at 10:20 last night in North Plains Hospital to Mrs. E.D. Hill, who was severely burned in a fire in her home yesterday at noon.

When firemen arrived at the scene both doors of the house were locked and had to be kicked in. Mrs. Hill was found lying on the floor at a bed, the mattress of which was afire. She received burns all over her body.

Prior to living in Borger the Hill family lived in Amarillo, where Hill was connected with the Dixon Drug company. He was employed at the Whitlock Drug in this city and is now with the Abbott Laboratories of Chicago with headquarters in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He arrived in Borger last night.

Survivors are three children, June 14, Emery (Buddy) 12, and Margaret 10; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Howard of Amarillo, two sisters, Mrs. S.V. Crow and Mrs. Doris Ferey both of Houston.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Carver Funeral Chapel at 5 o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. J.N. Hunt, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating.

Pallbearers will be G.H. Whitlock, C.C. Holt, R.E. Booker, Marvin Suttle, Robert Ramsey, and W.C. Hogue.

Interment will be in Highland cemetery. Carver Funeral Chapel.
