*Obituary Goldie
Goldie Evelyn Janssen, 78, of 415 Brian in Borger, died Tuesday at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
A housewife, she was a native of Wichita, Kansas and a Borger resident for 50 years.
She was a member of the Salvation Army Church, VFW 1782 Ladies Aux. and BPOE 1032 Ladies Aux. in Brownsville.
She is survived by three sons, Charley Janssen of Brownsville, Hubert Janssen of Panhandle, Harold Gene Janssen of Hammond, Indiana; one sister, Helen Alsbury of Hammond, Indiana; one brother, Bill Mongold of Amarillo; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe of the Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Memorials may be made to B.P.O.E. Borger Lodge for the Handicap Foundation.
The family will be at 308 W. 5th in Panhandle.
