*Obituary
Funeral services for Ida Ellen Larned, 64, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Larned died at 1:10 a.m. Thursday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
A native of Hominy, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 40 years. She was a housewife and member of VFW Post No. 1789 Auxiliary.
She married Julian A. Larned Oct. 23, 1970 at Stinnett. He died in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, James Larned of San Angelo; R.L. Brown of Amarillo; three daughters, Sandy Freeman of Honolulu, Hawii [sic]; Angela Larned of Abilene; and Mary Neeley of Amarillo; one brother, Tom Bennett of Searcy, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Coy Bennett, Eddie Bennett, Ross Wellesly, and Randy Hardin.
