Graveside services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Highland Park Cemetery for Mildred Christeen McCarty, 67, who died Sunday, Dec. 14 in Borger.

Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church will officiate. Arrangements are through Rector Funeral Home of Amarillo.

Mrs. McCarty was born in White Deer. She moved to Borger 60 years ago. She married J.R. McCarty in 1948 at Burkburnett. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, J.R. McCarty of Borger; one daughter, Teresa Mims of Borger; two sons, James Dewayne McCarty of Pocatello, Idaho; two sisters, Pauline Webb of Amarillo and Dorothy Tate of Borger; one brother August Speegle of Borger; one half-sister, Velma Newberry of Granite, Okla.; three half-brothers, Lester Speegle, Pete Speegle and Dwight Speegle, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home - 2800 S. Osage - Monday from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home and from 12 noon till 2 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church.

Memorial donations may be made to Crown of Texas Hospice.

The family will be at 1111 Gateway Circle.
