Christine McHenry, 55, 716 W. Monroe, died at 11:40 a.m., May 4, in St. Anthony's Hospital, Amarillo.
A homemaker, she was a native of Healdton, Okla. and a Borger resident for 22 years.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, VFW Auxiliary Post 1789.
She married Edward M. McHenry, March 14, 1948 in Wichita Falls. She moved to Borger, January, 1965, coming from Albuquerque, N.M.
She is survived by her husband, Edward M. McHenry of the home; one daughter, Linda D. Tipps of Borger; three sons, Jerry W. McHenry of Fritch, Edward M. McHenry, Jr. of Fritch, and Jimmy F. McHenry of the home; two sisters, Myrine Shaw of Greeley, Colorado, and Geraldine Perkins of Borger; one stepdaughter, Twana Olson of Del City, Okla., and one stepson, Ronald G. Brown of Ardmore, Okla.; six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael O. Orum of [sic] February, 1984.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander-Morton Funeral Directors.
Casketbearers will be Keith Clayton, Gary Clawson, Joel Lynch, John Ridling, Charles Smith, and Roy Young.
