Funeral services for Cecil S. Myers, 40, who succumbed Friday, will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Phillips Baptist church, with the Rev. H.J. West officiating.

Pallbearers will be E.P. Umphfres, Bill Jarnigan, E.L. Tall, Tom Trailer, R.F. Stiles, Gordon King, E.A. Rowell and W. Burris.

Surviving are the widow, an 11-year-old daughter, the mother, a brother and five sisters.

Interment will be in Highland Cemetery under direction of the Carver Funeral Chapel.

Viola Myers, 75, of 729 N. McGee St., died Sunday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Leonard Forsythe, of the Bible Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Myers had been a Borger resident for 50 years. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, in 1940.

Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Kehoe of Midland; a sister, Nadine Hampton of Borger; and a brother, Bryan Hampton of Fritch.
