*Obituary
Jewell V. Poole, 82, of 1213 Thompson St., died at 1:15 Saturday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Ramsey, church pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
Morris Olyn Poole, Darrell Werther, Stephen Poole, Ray Poole, Don Scott and Jerry Ramsey will serve as pallbearers.
A housewife and a native of Carbon, Texas, Mrs. Poole had been a Borger resident for 21 years. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and a life-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 417, in Fairfax, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Poole, in 1977.
Mrs. Poole is survived by four sons, Morris M. Poole of Borger, M.T. "Bud" Poole of Smackover, Ark., Bill R. Poole of Amarillo and Thomas Olyn Poole of Miami, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Werther of Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Boyd of El Dorado, Ark., nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
