Virginia Kay Shull, 60, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, in Amarillo.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Chris Rawlinson, pastor of Gateway Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Shull was born on Oct. 31, 1942, in Rotan. She had lived in Borger since 1943. She graduated from Borger High School in 1961 and graduated as an LVN in 1971. She worked as an LVN for North Plains Hospital until moving to Corpus Christi in 1978. She worked at a hospital in Corpus Christi until 1992, moving back to Borger in 1995. She was an artist and was a member of Tuloso Baptist Church in Corpus Christi.
Survivors include her parents, June and Maurine Rhoton, of Borger; two sons, Tommy Cook of Dallas and T.J. Cook and wife, Maria Cook, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; one brother, James R. Rhoton, of Borger; three grandchildren, Eric Cook of College Station and Kristin and Danielle Cook of Ocean Springs, Miss.
