*Obituary Timothy
Timothy Slate, 65, of 715 Deer [sic], died at 7:30 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Slate was a retired boilermaker. He was a native of Gouldbusk and had lived in Borger 39 years.
He was a member of the boilermaker's union.
Survivors include his mother, Minnie Slate of the home; one sister, Mrs. Bud Fisher of Hereford, and two brothers, Carl Slate of Borger and Elijah Slate of Miami.

PAMPA - Carl W. Slate, 78, formerly of Borger, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral directors of Borger.
Mr. Slate was born May 3, 1928, in Gouldbusk and came to Borger in 1944. He worked for the city of Borger for 31 years in the street department.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
