Services for James Donald Smith, 54, 1027 Harrington, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Neyer pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Smith was killed in a shooting incident Tuesday night at Buster's Pool Hall.

A native of Waxahachie, he had been a Borger resident for 27 years. He was a disabled World War II Veteran, and a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell; five sons, James of Borger, John of Arlington, Alton of Riverside, Calif., Jonathan of Oklahoma City, and Edward of El Paso; one brother Lewis J. Smith of Amarillo; one sister, Mrs. Mazie Powell of Waxahachie; his mother, Mrs. Fannie Piper of Waxahachie; and six grandchildren.
