Jessie Elaine Swaffar, 89, Borger, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Caddo County, Oklahoma, she had been a Borger resident since 1936. She was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Swaffar; a son, Wayne Hinds; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, J.R. Stout of Anderson, Mo.; and Darrell Hinds of Buena Park, Calif.; five daughters, Videll McDonald of Fritch; Maxine Bowers of Reno, Okla.; Helen Miller of El Reno, Okla.; Velma Wiggs of Blackwell, Okla.; and Joyce Platt of Borger; 21 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
