*Obituary James
James J. Tolleson, 58, resident of Philview, died Thursday afternoon at North Plains Hospital following a short illness.

Tolleson had lived in Borger for the past eight years and was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co.

Survivors include his wife, Della, a son, James G. Tolleson and two daughters; Mrs. Coela Martin and Mrs. J.B. Stigall, all of Borger.

Other survivors are four brothers: Charles, John, Tillmon and Brooks, all of Gurdon, Arkansas and three sisters: Mrs. Pearl Payne of Dirks, Ark., Mrs. Fern Lowery and Mrs. Laura Sharpe, both of Nashville, Tenn.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Church of God with Rev. F. C. Dozier officiating.

PAMPA - Della Tolleson, 93, died Monday, Nov. 9, in Pampa.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church of Borger, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Tolleson was born Jan. 13, 1905 in Winthrop, Ark. She married James J. Tolleson in 1932 in Arkansas. She had been a resident of both Pampa and Borger since 1944. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, 1953; six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Jim Tolleson of Borger; two daughters, Sybil Weems of Amarillo and Coela Martin of Pampa; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
