Funeral services for Weldon D. Watson, 47, of 810 Home Road, were held at 11 a.m. today in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carlton H. Thomson, pastor, officiating.
Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
Casketbearers were Preston Gifford, Marvin Floyd, Doyce George, Kelley Kitchens, Glen Austin and W.T. Clements.
Memorials to Watson may be sent to the Crippled Children's Hospital in Ottine, Tex., in care of the Borger Elks Lodge, Box 1581, Borger 79007.

Mary Edna Watson of Borger died Monday, June 10, 1996 in Fort Worth.
Services are pending with Brown Funeral Directors.
A native of Phillipsburg, Mo., she was a longtime Borger resident. She was a retired operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone, and a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.D. Watson on March 6, 1971.
Survivors include a daughter, Loris Jean Rankin of Fort Worth; two grandsons, and four cousins.
