Lorrie L Woody, 49, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 in Amarillo.
Services will be 2pm. Monday at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Dale Peirce officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park cemetery in Borger. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Lorrie was born December 14, 1960 to Alfred and Alice Gunkel in Borger and was a lifetime resident. On December 8, 2004 she married Billy Dean Woody in Borger. She was a teacher and also worked at the Toot N Totum on Cedar St. for 15 years. Lorrie loved her grandkids, coin collecting, riding motorcycles, and was a people person.
Survivors include her husband Billy Dean Woody of the home, (2) sons - Donney Schultz and wife Ashley of Borger, James Schultz and wife Trini of Borger; a daughter - Kendra Gunkel of Borger; a sister Jackie Boerner and husband Bruce of Enoch, Utah; (5) grandchildren - Kaleb Poole, Devin, Audrey, Kristopher, and Braydon Schultz.
Lorrie is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister - Donna Langford.
