WHEELER - Mrs. Florence Armenda Atwood, 82, died today in Coronado Community Hospital, Pampa.

She was born on July 18, 1899 in Cleburne, she moved to Wheeler County in 1910 and moved to Pampa in 1959 where she was a resident of the Leisure Lodge. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Wheeler. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.

Survivors include three sons, Walter (Sox) Atwood of Twitty, Ted and Jack Atwood of Pampa; one daughter, Mrs. Louise Durham, Sasakwa, Okkl [sic]., 27 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by three sons and one daughter.
