Funeral services for Bertha Faye Cox will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ken Sheppard, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Cox, 79, died Aug. 8, 1994, in the Borger Nursing Center.

A housewife, she was a native of Childress. She moved to Borger five years ago from Pampa.

Mrs. Cox was a member of the Church of God in Pampa. She married B.D. Cox on Dec. 2, 1931 in Cheyenne, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1954.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Brownlee, of Borger; two grandsons, Len Reeves of Pampa; and Skyler Reeves, of Borger; and two great-grandsons.

The family will be staying at 625 Whittenburg in Borger.

Casketbearers will be Walter Batman, Melvin Batman, W.D. Thomas, Ricky Thomas, Wesley Thomas and Jim Free.
