Mrs. Hampton was born in Sailsbury, N.C. in 1885.

She was married to Charlie Ollie Hampton May 3, 1906 in Oluskee, Okla.

She is survived by two daughters including Mrs. Vera Ruty Brickey of Wheeler and Mrs. Opal Plemmons of Phoenix, Ariz and also eight sons; one sister; two brothers; 34 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson and preceeded in death by her husband and one son.

Services were held in the First Baptist Church in Wheeler Tuesday, July 27, 1965 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Dale Cain and Rev Harold Perdue officiating. Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery with Wright-Denson funeral home in charge.
