Bonnie M. Holt, 91, of Amarillo, died Thursday, April 22, 1999.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wheeler Cemetery with Sister Mary Morrissey of Crown of Texas Hospice officiating. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mrs. Holt was born in Conway. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Pritchett, Colo., where they established a family bank. In 1935, they returned to Wheeler.

Mrs. Holt was the director of First National Bank in Wheeler for many years. She lived in Highland Haven near Marble Falls, then moved to Pecan Plantation near Granbury before settling in Amarillo.

She married Robert J. Holt in 1927 at Claude. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, a son, R.J. Holt, Jr., in 1965, and a daughter, Mary Meadows in 1995.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Ann Wilson of Amarillo; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, Texas 79101; or a favorite charity.
