WHEELER - Cecil Alene Bowers, 67, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, in Claude.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Church of Christ in Wheeler with Andy Taylor of Trinity Fellowship of Sayre, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.
Cecil was born Nov. 28, 1943, in Dennison to Novis Cecil Hamilton and Mildred Alene Miller Hamilton. She attended school in Wheeler.
Cecil was self-employed as a hairdresser for 15 years, and was a member of Church of Christ in Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Hailey Alene Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Jo and husband Craft Sparks and Lisa Lynn and husband Dennis Kirk; two sisters, Charlene and husband Cliff Taylor and Shirley and husband Jay Wheatley; two brothers, Floyd and wife Rose Hamilton and Herman and wife Anna Hamilton; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., No. 404, Amarillo, TX 79106-1766.
