WHEELER - Christine Jones Hooser, 72, died Sunday, July 6, 2003.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with Bob Thomas, chaplain of Crown of Texas Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hooser was a licensed vocational nurse for 20 years. After residing in the Dallas area for 40 years, she returned to Wheeler in 1998.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ray Jones in 1998.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. John Hooser and wife, Linda, of Copperas Cove; a daughter, Jackie Poteet and husband, Keith, of Ovilla; five brothers, Billy Jones of Wheeler, Paul Jones and wife, Jean, of Bentonville, Ark., Jimmy Jones and wife, Mary, of Irving, Robert Jones and wife, Ann, of Wheeler and Chester Jones and wife, Vivian, of Georgetown; a sister-in-law, Paula Jones of Wheeler; four grandchildren, Renee Ankrom, Brian Hooser, Paul Hooser and Scott Poteet; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to the Lupus Foundation or American Cancer Society.
