Services for Mr. Charles Caleb Moore, 25, of Krum will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Wheeler, TX with Rev. Stanley Baker, officiating. Burial will follow at Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Peppers Family Funeral Home in Wheeler, Texas.

Caleb passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Grand Junction, CO.

Caleb Moore was born August 28, 1987 in Ft. Worth, TX to Mr. Wade Moore and Mrs. Michele (Bentley) Moore. He graduated half a year early from Krum High School and started traveling doing quad and snowmobile freestyle riding. Caleb and his brother, Colten practiced hours and hours perfecting his tricks by launching his sled and four-wheelers into a foam pit at home in Krum, TX.

Because of his amazing talent he rose quickly to the top, having only practiced snowmobiling for a brief time before medaling in the X Games. He was a four-time X Games medalist. Caleb was known as an innovative rider, having stated that his first back flip on an all-terrain four-wheeler at the age of 19, was the most exciting moment of his life. Caleb and his brother traveled the world and made a lasting impression on millions of lives. He had a natural passion for life and a deep love for his family and friends. Many describe Caleb as a role model for living out your dreams to the fullest. He will be missed by many worldwide.

Caleb Moore is survived by his parents of Krum, TX; his brother, Colten Moore of Corinth, TX; grandparents Charles and Butch Moore of Wheeler, TX; Larry and Vickie Barrow of Paradise, TX; Ed and Terri Bentley of Fort Worth, TX.

The family request memorials to "Wheeler Church of Christ Caleb Moore Fund" at First State Bank, PO Box 527, Wheeler, TX 79096. All proceeds given to this fund go to the Moore family for medical expenses.

Caleb Moore (August 28, 1987 – January 31, 2013) was an American professional snowmobile racer, a quad freestyle motocross rider, and the only person to die as a result of injuries sustained during the X Games. During his X Games career, Moore claimed four medals.

His younger brother Colten Moore is also a competitive snowmobiler and quad freestyle motocross rider.

Caleb Moore was born in 1987 in Ft. Worth, Texas. His parents are Wade and Michele Moore.Caleb is described as having been an adrenaline junkie, someone who was not afraid to take risks, and someone that truly loved what he did. He was family oriented, outgoing, personable, and made friends everywhere he went. He graduated from high school early so that he could continue ATV racing on the national circuit. The number 31 was his personal riding number that he chose for himself as a kid when he first got into ATV racing.
