Olin Webster Pendleton, Jr., age 80, a resident of Grand Prairie, passed away April 7, 2008. Olin was born May 30, 1927, on the Pendleton farm in Wheeler County, Texas. He served two tours in the U.S. Navy. Olin retired from Vought Aircraft Industries after 25 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty, of 40 years.
Survivors are the wife, Opal; children: Randy Pendleton, Mark Pendleton, Nicky Pendleton, Patti Box, Penni Gregory and Brett Pendleton; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Ray Pendleton and Carroll Dale Pendleton.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral home in Grand Prairie.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Freetown Road Church of Christ in Grand Prairie.
Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Texas.
