Colorado City – Mrs. Virginia Albidrez, age 91 of Colorado City, died Monday morning, October 15, 2012, in a local hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Albidrez was born September 16, 1921 In Marfa, TX to Vidal and Juana Gonzales Perales and had been a lifelong resident of Colorado City. She married Santos Albidrez in November, 1964 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was presser for a cleaners and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Tony and wife, Matilda Albidrez of Colorado City; a daughter, Rita Albidrez of Denver, CO; a grandson, Vidal Albidrez of Denver, CO; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers: Eugenio Perales, Saturnino Perales, Manuel Perales and Francisco Perales.

A rosary will be held a 7 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the funeral home.
