Graveside services for Jackie Browning, 46, of Etoile will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2010, in the Sand Flat Cemetery. Mrs. Browning was born May 20, 1964, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Louise Partin and Richard Allen and died Tuesday, November 16, 2010, in a Galveston hospital. Mrs. Browning was a 1982 graduate of Woden High School. She loved her children, grandchildren and family unconditionally. Her children and grandchildren were the lights of her life. Mrs. Browning fought a courageous fight against cancer for the last four years. The family would like to thank the staff at UTMB for the love and support that each of them have shown her throughout the previous years. Survivors include her husband, Gary Browning of Etoile; daughters and son-in-law, Megan and Jason Read of Lufkin and Lacey Browning of Etoile; son, Aaron Browning of Etoile; grandchildren, Jaime, Jacie and Jordyn Read, all of Lufkin; mother, Louise Allen of Etoile; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Vicky Allen, Robert and Jeanine Allen and Randy and Dena Allen; sisters and brother-in-law, Julie Allen and Madalyn and Zachary Brogan; mother-in-law and husband, Betty and Fred Juren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carla and George Kelley, Tracy and Brian Berry, Julie and Gerald Davis and Cathy Musick; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Allen. Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
