HEREFORD - Mrs. Frank (Lou) Crecy Byrd, 81, died yesterday.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Prentice Smith, pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church, and the Rev. Clarence Powell, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Byrd was born in Higginsport. She married Frank Byrd Jan. 25, 1915, in Bogata. She moved to Hereford from Littlefield in 1946.

Survivors include her widower; two sons, E.F. of Dalhart and J.O. of Borger; four daughters, Mrs. Izell Phifer and Mrs. Cora Leffel, both of Hereford, Mrs. Mary Phillips of Albany, Ore., and Mrs. Margaret Grunderman of Englewood, Colo.; two brothers, Troy Cavanar of Rialto, Calif., and Carl Cavanar of Bogata; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
