HEREFORD - F.L. Eicke, 83, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, in Amarillo.

Private family graveside services will be today in West Park Cemetery with Mark Urquhart of Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors.

Mr. Eicke was born May 8, 1922, in Snyder to Joe Eicke and Maggie Pearl Huckabee Eicke. He married Ann Sturdivant on Aug. 29, 1943, in Pampa.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ted Eicke of Hereford; two sisters, Trellice Perry and Daphna Hill, both of Snyder; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Angels in Charge, P.O. Box 19538, Amarillo, TX 79114.

Annie R. Eicke
December 16, 1922 - September 19, 2014

Annie Rue Eicke, 91, longtime rural Deaf Smith County resident, died Friday, September 19, 2014 at King’s Manor Methodist Home - West Gate.

A Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at West Park Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Latham, Chaplain of King’s Manor Methodist Home will officiate. Services are under the direction of Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E 6th Street.

Annie was born December 16, 1922 in Snyder, Texas to Lee and Henrietta (Shipman) Sturdivant. She fell in love and married F. L. Eicke in 1945 in Pampa. They moved to Hereford in 1957 from Snyder. Annie was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Hereford. She loved her Lord and her family. Annie worked in retail sales for Boots & Saddle for many years. What Annie loved most in life was spending time with her family.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include her son, Ted Eicke and wife Rene of rural Deaf Smith County, 1 sister, Faye Moore of Snyder, 2 grandchildren, Russell Eicke of Hereford, Toni Rentfro of Shallowater, and 2 great grandchildren, Tatum and Tucker Rentfro of Shallowater.

The family suggests memorials to King’s Manor Methodist Home, 400 Ranger Drive, Hereford, TX 79045.
