Lucy Jane Funk
Lucy Jane Funk, 86, died on Sunday, Jan. 19, 1992, in Amarillo, Texas. She was born in Clinton, Iowa, and moved to Bonner Springs in 1923 when she married Vernal Weber. She owned and operated the Weber Manufacturing Co. where they made Lucy Jane dresses and Snappy Di-De diapers. She married Jona Funk in 1977. He preceeded her in death. She is survived by three granddaughters; two grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held on Jan. 22 in West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.
