Mrs. Ruth B. Lambert, 91, of 700 North Miles died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 3, in her home following a one year's illness.
She was born Aug. 21, 1870 in Wentworth, Iowa. She was married to F.W. Lambert on Oct. 7, 1890 in Bailey, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1948.
They moved to Deaf Smith County in Oct., 1908 from Bailey, Iowa. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 6, in Rose Chapel of Gililland Funeral Home with the Rev. B.L. Davis, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in West Park Cemetery, Hereford, under the direction of Gililland Funeral Home.
Survivose [sic] include three daughters, Mrs. Calla Mountz of Hereford, Mrs. Clara Wright of Fort Scott, Kan., and Mrs. Helen Jones of Detroit, Mich.; a son, Harland of Kaslo, British Columbia, Canada; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

HEREFORD, March 5 - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth B. Lambert, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rose Chapel at Gililland Funeral Home with the Rev. B.L. Davis, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lambert, a resident of Texas since 1908, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at her home following a year's illness.
