Graveside Rites For Mrs. Norton Slated Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. H.D. Norton, Monett, Mo., will be conducted today at 10 a.m. in Monett. The body will then be transferred to Gililland Funeral Home Friday, and graveside rites will be read at 2:30 p.m. at West Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Norton died Dec. 17. The daughter of one of the early pioneer families in Deaf Smith County, the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hodges, she was born here April 13, 1902.
Survivors include her husband Dick Norton, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. John Deinary, Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Leroy Hodges, St. Louis, Mo., and one grandson.
The family requests that persons wishing to send flowers contribute instead to their favorite research foundations.
