VEGA - Mary E. Parker, 86, died Sunday, March 1, 2009.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Westpark Cemetery in Hereford by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Vega.
Mary was born July 27, 1922, in Crosbyton to Arthur and Pearl Brock. After completing high school, she married Vick Talbot and moved to California, where she was in the aircraft industry for 30 years. Vick preceded her in death in 1976.
Mary married Willard Parker in 1981 in Clovis, N.M. They later moved to Vega, where she lived until her death.
Survivors include her husband, Willard Parker; a sister, Ginger Schmidt; two brothers, Kenneth and Richard Brock; two stepsons, Johnnie and Royce Parker; and two stepdaughters, Linda Atkins and Rhonda Guinn.
Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
