Burial services for Judge Clyde Wright, former Hereford resident and Deaf Smith County Judge, who died Thursday afternoon at his home in Silverton, will be held on Sunday afternoon at West Park cemetery at 5 o'clock. The Masonic Lodge, of which Judge Wright was a member will be in charge of the service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Silverton. The pastor of the Presbyterian Church will conduct the rites.

Judge Wright was born in January 1879 and was married to Lela Gregg in Hereford in 1910.

He served as county attorney for Deaf Smith County and was also county judge for a number of years.

At the time of his death Judge Wright was county attorney of Briscoe County. He was active in a number of civic organizations.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Gregg Wright of Silverton, one daughter, Alva Omby of Phoenix, Ariz., one son, Jack of Raleigh, N.C., four grandchildren and one sister. He was also a brother-in-law of Mrs. W.E. Dameron and Harry Seed of Hereford.

Burial rites for Mrs. Leila Wright of Silverton will be held here in West Park Cemetery Monday afternoon following funeral services held in Silverton at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Wright died at her home in Silverton Friday morning following a heart attack. She is survived by a son, Jack of Raleigh, N.C., and a daughter, Mrs. Harold Owenby of Phoenix, Ariz. She is also survived by two sisters; Mrs. W.E. Dameron of Hereford and Mrs. J.E. Beyer Jr., of Hutchinson, Kans.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wright, whose burial rites were conducted in West Park Cemetery Feb. 27, 1955.

Mrs. Wright, the former Miss Leila Gregg, was married to Clyde Wright in 1910 in Hereford. While they were here both were active in civic and church circles and he was serving as Deaf Smith County Judge when the present court house was built.

They moved to Oregon from Hereford and later to Silverton where he practiced law until shortly before his death. Both were actively engaged in civic affairs and in the Presbyterian Church work in Silverton.
