Ruth Womble, 81, of Hereford died Monday, Aug. 20, 1990.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Steve McElroy, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Womble was born in Cave City, Ark. and moved to Hereford from Tulia in 1930. She married Baker Womble at Dimmitt in 1930. He died in 1967. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sally Strain of Hereford; and two grandchildren, Wesley Strain of Midland and Sherry Strain of Clarks Summit, Penn.
