HEREFORD, Feb. 25. (Special) - Funeral services were held here Tuesday at the Methodist Church for E.M. Potter, 50 years old, who died Sunday in Wichita Falls. Mr. Potter had lived in Deaf Smith County area since 1928 when he moved here from White Deer. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ora W. Potter, three sons, Emmet M. Jr. Kenneth Earl and Benny Louis, and four daughters, Betty Jo, Madalene, Frankie May and Gladys, all of Hereford; three brothers, W.L. and L.L. Potter, White Deer, and J.D. Potter of Albuquerque, and tow sisters, Mrs. A. Smith, Amarillo, and Mrs. F. Morgan, Wichita Falls.

HEREFORD, March 24 - Funeral arrangements are pending at the Gililland Funeral Home in Hereford for Mrs. Ora Potter, 67, who died Thursday in the home of a sister, Mrs. Johnnie McGann, in Vernon.

She was born Feb. 18, 1894, in Sherman Tex., and was married to E.M. Potter on Jan. 18, 1921, in White Deer. Mr. Potter died Feb. 2, 1942.

Mrs. Potter had lived in Deaf Smith County since May, 1928.

She is survived by three sons, Emmett and Benny of Albuquerque, and Kenneth of Carlsbad, N.M.; four daughters, Mrs. Betty Jo Carlson and Mrs. Frankie Barrett, both of Hereford, Mrs. Gladys Jenkins of Temple City, Calif., and Miss Madelene [sic] Potter of Hereford; one borther [sic], Leon Waldrop of McLean; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Weaver and Mrs. Mina Kalka, both of McLean, and Mrs. McGann of Vernon; and 15 grandchildren.

HEREFORD - Funeral services for Miss Madalene Frances Potter, 52, a Hereford resident since 1928, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Gililland-Watson Rose Chapel here.

Officiating will be the Rev. Eugene Brink, pastor of the First Christian Church and burial will be in West Park Cemetery.

Miss Potter, a native of Panhandle, died Saturday morning in Abilene.

Survivors include three brothers, Emmett of Albuquerque, Kenneth of Lubbock and Bennie of Oklahoma City; and three sisters, Mrs. Bettie Jo Carlton and Mrs. Frankie Barrett, both of Hereford, and Mrs. Gladys Jenkins of Los Angeles.
