HEREFORD, May 30 (Special) - Funeral services for Quince G. Williams, 33 years old, will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Hereford at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.

S.E. Eldridge, pastor, will officiate.

Mr. Williams died at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo early Sunday morning after being struck by a car in front of the Avalon Night Club at 1:45, an hour and a half earlier.

He was reported to have stepped from behind a parked car into the path of a car driven by John K. Thompson.

He was a driver for Radford Wholesale Grocery Company in Amarillo, where he had made his home for the past three years, moving there from Hereford. He served with the armed forces during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action during the invasion of the Solomons.

His survivors include his wife, Chris; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Williams of Hereford; three brothers, Jim A., Clovis; Vernon A., Amarillo; and Hobby, Hereford; and four sisters, Mrs. B.E. Holder, Ranger; Mrs. L.E. Ware, Littlefield; Mrs. Buster Cofer, Pampa; and Mrs. H.L. Burel, Hereford.

Interment will be in West Park Cemetery here, under the direction of Black Funeral Home.
