Services were conducted Friday in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home for Mrs. Claudia A. Rogers of Hillcrest Convalescent Home, Clovis, N.M.
The Rev. Jerry Buckner, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in West Park Cemetery.
A former resident of Hereford, Mrs. Rogers had lived at Clovis since August, 1971. She was born April 6, 1886 at Lawton, Okla. to William and Mina Sain. She married John Leroy Rogers Nov. 4, 1931 at Clovis. He preceeded her in death in 1963.
Mrs. Rogers moved from Hereford in 1971 and lived briefly at Portales, N.M. She died in a Clovis hospital.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Don Rountree of Durango, Colo.; a nephew, Blonnie Rea of Portales; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Sain of Portales, Eva Boyd and Nellie Israel; two brothers-in-law, Arthur R. Rogers of Hereford and L.D. Boyd; a great nephew, Lynton Rea of Colorado Springs, Colo.
