Al Smith

Al Smith, 83, of Hereford, died Sunday.

Services were Tuesday at West Park Cemetery in Hereford with Doug Manning, worship leader of Fellowship of Believers, officiating. Arrangements were by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home of Hereford.

Mr. Smith was born Sept. 23, 1910, in Durant, Okla. He married Marjorie Neeley in 1938 in Clovis, N.M. He moved to Deaf Smith County in 1942 from Amarillo. He was a cattleman.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Neely Kimbrough of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four daughters, Linda Jones of Amarillo, Carlie Warren of Dimmitt, Terry Kosub of Stephenville and Patsy Meridith of Johnson City, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Nancy Hill of Hereford.
