Louie Neal "Lucky" Luckenbaugh, age 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, December 08, 2006 in a local nursing home. Mr. Luckenbaugh was born June 26, 1917 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and lived in Texarkana most of his life, moving from Fort Smith. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and a veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Edwards Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Luckenbaugh.
He is survived by his four daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and Lindell Gibson of Maud, Texas; Janice and James Hodge of De Queen, Arkansas; Loretta and Gary Hicks of Rosston, Arkansas; Laura and John Clubine of Texarkana, Arkansas; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Michael and Maria Luckenbaugh of Texarkana, Arkanas; David and Norma Luckenbaugh of Garland, Texas; Darryl Luckenbaugh of Bossier City, Louisiana; Fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
