Jessie Irene Morgan Gaebler passed away September 1, 1993 in Vernon, Texas. She was born August 17, 1910 in Van Court, Texas to Harry and Erzabeth Morgan. She married Walter T. Gaebler on November 26, 1927 in Wilbarger County Texas. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel in Vernon, Texas and burial was in Eastview Cemetery in Vernon. Rev. Russell Cloud officiated with music by Jackie and Renae King and Julie Bowland. Survivors include one son, Walter Max Gaebler of Vernon, Texas; four daughters, Maurine Hamilton of Amarillo, Tx; Junita Bowland of White Settlement; Vivian Baldwin of Mineral Wells and Jean King of Baird, Tx; four sisters, Eura Mae Roberson and Gladys Roberson of Dickens, Kathleen Robertson and Marie Smith of Vernon; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-granchildren.. Pallbearers were grandsons James King, Jackie King, Max Gaebler, J.W. Bowland, Melvin Copaus, Gerald Baldwin, Chris Sanchez and Mike Oglesby.She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; a daughter, Mabel Rushing; seven brothers and three sisters.
