Funeral services for Mrs. Marnie Cook, 49, who died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital following a lengthy illness, were conducted Saturday in the Church of God of Electra with Rev. L.V. Youngblood, pastor, and Rev. N.L. Suiter of Vernon, officiating.
Burial was in Electra Cemetery under direction of James B. Totten & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cook was born May 30, 1927, at Kapellen, Belgium.
She was a member of the Church of God and had lived in Electra vicinity since 1949.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Alfred Cook of Garland, James Cook of Mesquite, Mike Cook and Donald Cook, both of Electra; four daughters, Mrs. Maria Reid, Mrs. Gail Duren, Wilma Cook and Marlene Cook, all of Electra; two brothers, Alfond and Felix Blankers, both of Belgium; three sisters of Belgium; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers were nephews._
