Final rites for. Doyle Marvin Gooch, 89, who died Feb. 29th in Electra Memorial Hospital, were held Thursday, March 1st in Totten-Day Funeral Chapel with Rev. Miles Graham, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.
Mr. Gooch was born April 25, 1894 in Belton, Texas, son of the late Wylea and Betty Hudgens Gooch. A retired oil and gas engineer, he had lived in Electra since 1915 and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was retired from Texaco, Inc.
Survivors include: his wife, Freida Gooch of Electra; two sisters, Annie Gibson of Electra and Lois Wheeler of Winters, Texas.
Pallbearers were Norman Flowers, Charles Nichols, Jay McDonald, Geo Cooper, Cecil King and Tommie Smith._

Funeral Services for Freida J. Gooch, 83, who died November 7, in a Wichita Falls Hospital were held Monday November 9 at 2 p.m. from the First Christian Church with Rev. Miles Graham officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park.
She had lived in the Electra area most of her life and attended the First Christian Church.
Survivors include one sister, Marie Lemon of Vernon, Texas, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Lucas, Opal Beasley, Lawrence Lemon, Dwaine Houtchens, Willie Kieschnick, and Grady Graves._
