Alice B. Ross "Peggy" Markle, age 73, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, November 10, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Markle was born February 19, 1935 at New Boston, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Buchanan Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, M.A. "Al" Markle of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Rose Markle Shuster and Dan Shuster of Red Oak, Texas; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Mark and Shirley Markle of Jefferson, Texas, Gregg and Debbie Markle of Texarkana, Texas, Rick and Janna Markle of Louisville, Kentucky, Jeno Salias of Cosby, Texas; two brothers, John Ross of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Joe Ross of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas with the Rev. Mark Markle and the Rev. Jimmy Albrecht officiating. Burial will be at Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston, Texas.
