Obituary
Funeral services for Fred L. Abel, 68, are pending at Simpson Funeral Home. A long time Borger resident, Mr. Abel was engaged in real estate business. He died at 1:25 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Bessie of the home, 1005 Roosevelt; a daughter, Mrs. George Moseley, Hawaii; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Miller of Houston; and four grandchildren.

Final rites for Fred Abel, long time Borger resident, are scheduled at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Rev. Dan Cameron, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
Mr. Abel died at 1:25 a.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital.

Bessie U. Abel, 95, Borger, died Thursday, April 20, 1995 in Overland Park, Kan.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
A native of Berlin, Okla., she had been a Borger resident since 1934. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Abel in 1961.
Survivors include a daughter, Josephine Rose Mosley of Geneva, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
