Borger News Herald - December 14, 1992
Viletta Matilda Adams, 66, of 300 S. Harvey in Borger, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1992 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Eternal Light Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Elvis Peck, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A homemaker, Mrs. Adams was a member of Eternal Light Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Adams.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Fish, of Borger, and Bobby Fish, of Abilene; two stepsons, Gary Adams, of Stinnett, and Denny Adams, of Davis, Okla.; two daughters, Donna Litterell, of Borger, and Kathy Stamper, of Abilene; two brothers, Delmer Field, of Claremore, Okla., and Dale Field, of Easton, Kan.; one sister, Vinetta Howard, of Booker; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Casketbearers will be Gary Adams, Doc Wilkinson and Robby Litterell.
