Born March 15, 1854, in Fortbend County, Texas to Sarah Jane Little and Henry Grey Little. Elizabeth died on January 21, 1898, in Yoakum Texas. Elizabeth was married to Samuel Lucky Townsend and together they raised 10 children. Effie Forsyth - Townsend, Samuel Lucky Townsend Jr., Zula Zion McNeel - Townsend, Katherine Elizabeth "Katy" Snelling -Townsend, Grey Henry Townsend, James Green Townsend, Stafford Thomas Townsend, Leah McCarthy - Townsend, Mary Townsend, and Herbert Henry Townsend.
