Born in Grainger County, Tennessee and
died in Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas
Her served in the Trans-Mississippi department, and was with Price on his raids in Missouri, taking part in the battle of Oak Hill, Missouri; Elk Horn, Arkansas; Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, and Saline River, Arkansas. Mr. Millican served in the ordnance department, and received a gunshot wound in the left thigh at Saline River, Arkansas. He was twice captured, first in Newton county, Missouri, at the opening of the war, and next in the Indian Territory, while trying to make his way to the Confederate lines.
