Shares stone with Betty Cunningham Hardgrove
Robert E. Hardgrove, 66, died January 2, 1992 at his home in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services were conducted Friday January 3, 1992 at 2 p.m. from the Wesley United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, with Rev. Steve Robertson, officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.
He was born February 27, 1925 in Electra, Texas to Minnie (Moye) and George Paris Hardgrove. He and Betty Cunningham were married August 12, 1945 in Electra, Texas. He had lived in Wichita Falls 3 1/2 years moving there from Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls.
Survivors include his wife, Betty of Wichita Falls; Three sons, Robert of Coweta, Oklahoma, Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Barton of Tulsa, Oklahoma; One sister, Helen Hardgrove of Denver, Colorado and seven grandchildren.
The family requests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Wesley United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers were J.C. Alexander, Dan Flippin, Gene Patterson, Stan Phillips, Jack Wilburn and Coy Frazier._
