Delmar L. Ballard, age 79, passed away Friday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services were held 2 p.m. Monday from the Southside Church of Christ in Electra with Dennis Hoff, pastor officiating. Burial was in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.
Mr. Ballard was born June 10, 1914 in Achille, Oklahoma and had lived in Electra most of his life. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Electra. He had served eight years on the Electra City Council and was the former owner of Lincoln Tank Company in Electra. He and Charlene Swafford were married February 12, 1942 in Frederick, Oklahoma.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene of Electra; One son, Dwayne Ballard of Mesa, Arizona; One daughter, Sharon Thames of Electra, Texas; two brothers, O.W. Ballard of Wichita Falls, Texas and Carl A. Ballard of Duncan, Oklahoma; sister, LaVell Kelly of California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren._

Charlene Ballard, 82, died Monday, February 25, 2002 in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002 from Electra Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Dennis Hoff, pastor of Southside Church of Christ officiating. Interment was under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ballard was born June 10, 1919 in Electra.
Survivors include one son and wife, Dwayne and Rose Ballard of Amarillo, Texas, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association._
